Hilary Kennedy on when to splurge and when to be price savvy

D

allas personality Hilary Kennedy makes a great point when she says “Just because you have the money to spend on an expensive wardrobe doesn’t mean you should.”  Sometimes even when you can drop serious cash on high end items, maybe you should check out what you can find at Forever 21 instead. As many of you know, high price tags don’t equal style and sometimes it’s good to save some money and set it aside. Now don’t get her wrong, Hillary is an adamant lover of designer shoes and bags who believes in treating yourself to the finer things in life, but I think the message here is that it’s all about deciding which items are worth buying luxury and which items are just as good coming from Target.

In her most recent update Hillary gives us some outfit ideas for when we’re feeling more savvy than splurge-y. As Hillary demonstrates so well with this clean look that mixes earth tones with a pop of color, being frugal doesn’t mean you can’t be fashionable.
