REVLON AND ELLE BRING ‘THE PURSE-UIT OF POWER’ TO DALLAS

emember the good old scavenger hunt?  I had a birthday party once that was basically a mall scavenger hunt, complete with goofy Poloroid photos taken at each location.  (We weren’t cool enough for camera phones at age 12. Either that, or they weren’t invented yet.) Either way, you don’t have to give up the thrill of the hunt just because you’re a grown-up.  On April 14, Revlon and ELLE will give away a $3,000 “Power Purse” to the first person arriving at the secret “drop” location, which have been revealed through nine cryptic clues released on Revlon’s Facebook page starting March 19. Intrigued and wondering what the heck a power purse is? I was too.

The “Power Purse”, straight off the Paris runways and valued at over $3,000, contains a specially curated mix of must-have makeup, accessories and tech gadgets put together by the trendsetting team at ELLE. The Dallas “Power Purse” will be the first of four bags appearing across the country alongside four additional bags which will be available via online  sweepstakes to players outside the drop areas.The nine clues will be released a week apart for the first three weeks and then daily in the final five days of the cycle. During the final week, purse hunters can head to Revlon’s Facebook for daily clues, and other exciting instant win prizes including Revlon ColorStay Longwear Nail Enamel with Top & Base Coat* and Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara*.

To celebrate each bag drop, Revlon and ELLE will host an exciting “reveal” event to reward everyone who makes it to the destination with product samples, makeup touch ups, a photobooth, giveaways and more.  This exciting game of clue is only a few days away, so get your sleuthing outfit ready. You can’t track down a “power purse” without it!
