Trends 2011: Unique or Ugly?

elebrities don’t always get it right when it comes to sporting the trends. Not everyone should be sporting lace tights or thigh-high boots, regardless of your star power or bank account.  So which of these looks gets the thumbs up or thumbs down?

Gwen Stefani’s long coat-this could be much classier if fitted properly.  The coat is a lovely color and style, but it comes across as harsh and military in its current state.

Kourtney Kardashian’s romper and tights look: No. No, no, no, no.  I totally get that animal print is in, but how about get rid of the tights and just sport leopard print heels with the romper instead?

Hilary Duff-not even your gorgeous Mother-to-be glow can overshadow this mess.  Striped shoes and a patterned dress…sounds like fodder for Joan Rivers on Fashion Police.  Yikes.

Vanessa Hudgens-this is a look I can live with.  The cords are cute, the multi-layered necklaces look fresh, and it says “fall” without screaming “fail.”
