One Kings Lane and Dwell With Dignity to Host the Spring 2013 Thrift Studio this April
emember the sheer joy you experienced when Gilt City brought their online selection to the Dallas Contemporary in February? If Gilt is your go to for the latest fashions, its home décor counterpart would have to be One Kings Lane. That feeling of sheer joy is about to come back in a big way.
Dwell with Dignity, a Dallas-based non-profit organization founded by interior designers dedicated to creating inspiring homes for families struggling with homelessness and poverty, is partnering with One Kings Lane, the leading online destination for the
home, for Dwell with Dignity’s biannual fundraiser, Thrift Studio.
The thirty day pop-up shop offers spectacular values on gently used furniture, housewares, accessories, and designer finds presented in beautifully styled vignettes by designers like Horchow, Peacock Alley, Studio Ten 25, William-Christopher Design and more.
Before the Thrift Shop becomes open to the public (April 19 – May 18) One Kings Lane will be co-hosting a special Preview Party on April 18 at the Dallas Design Center for guests who want an early peek at the 2013 Thrift Studio and the designer-styled vignettes. Those who want to be the first to purchase designs can do so at the VIP Champagne Reception for a ticket price of $175. Tickets for the preview party hosted by One Kings Lane Co-Founder and Chief Merchandising Officer Susan Feldman are $125.
“It’s an honor to have One Kings Lane participating with us in our first Thrift Studio of the year,” states Lisa Robison, Dwell with Dignity’s founder and president. “Their generous support brings a lot of excitement to our volunteers, designers and donors. Thrift Studio is critical to our mission of providing inspiring interiors for families in need, and we are so grateful for partnerships with design leaders like One Kings Lane and our participating vignette designers. Our shoppers will be thrilled with the amazing values and gorgeous vignettes.”
