Yellow Through the Years – The Dress 4 Yellow Fashion Show 3.28.13
he 4 Yellow Foundation has dedicated itself to helping the fight against cancer on both a local and national level. This fight continues on March 28 with their annual Dallas-based fashion event Dress for 4 Yellow. Inspired by vintage style, this year’s fashion show is entitled INVintage – Yellow Through the Years, and will showcase designs from a variety of premier designer collections in all shades of yellow you can imagine, from lemon to marigold. How perfect for summer! There will also be a “Yellow Brick Road” silent auction that will include all things yellow as well.

All proceeds for the event will go to Cooks Children’s Medical Center as well 4 Yellow’s national affiliate LiveStrong. Yellow is not only a stylish summer color but it is also said to “shine with optimism, enlightenment, and happiness. Shades of golden yellow carry the promise of a positive future.” (via). This makes yellow the perfect signature color for the 4 Yellow Foundation as it reflects the hope and optimism that they bring to millions every day with their dedication to raising support for cancer patients everywhere.
