Warby Parker Class Trip Parks at Henderson Ave. This Friday
’ve been a four eyes since the wee age of eight. I got contacts at age 10, so the majority of the world used to assume that I was a 20/20-er. I say “used” because thanks to hipsters everywhere and the emerging coolness of sporting spectacles, I’ve came out from under my shroud of contact lens deception and began to embrace my frames.
I also have to thank super cool companies like Warby Parker, makers of vintage-inspired eyewear at a revolutionary price point. To up their cool factor even more, they instituted the Warby Parker Class Trip, outfitting a school bus to look as lovely, cluttered, and classy as your favorite professor’s library: leather sofas, wood paneling, vintage books, etc.
In an effort to be the cool class trip (to the science museum) and not he lame one (to the box making factory), the Warby Parker Class Trip hopes to combine adventure, inside jokes, photography, and useful stuff to make the experience something to remember.
Don’t miss your chance to try on some specs in this one of a kind showroom this Friday, January 18 when the bus will be parked at 2323 Henderson Avenue next to Sushi Axiom. Grab a drink and mingle with their team of eyewear stylists from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
